The WoodPro Purchasing and Receiving software module is designed to handle the ordering and receiving of inventory in an efficient manner and offers a variety of features of benefit to the lumber and building products industry.
Purchasing and Receiving is fully integrated with the Inventory Management and Order Entry software modules. The system provides lumber specific software for the entry of block tallies, piece and package tallies for random length and specified length products. A variety of useful reports and inquiries are available to assist in the management of the purchasing process.
The look, feel and features of the Purchase Order module is similar to the characteristics of the Order Entry module. When entering a purchase order, a variety of look-up information is available at your fingertips from the Inventory Available for Purchase Inquiry: inventory inquiry, order inquiry, inventory history inquiry and purchase order history inquiry. New orders can be copied from previous orders to save input time and access to all tally and package information is readily available.
The Goods Received Maintenance provides contact information of the supplier of the goods received, details of the goods received, and also information regarding where the goods will be shipped.
